Kabul’s Mandayi Market surrounds the Pul-e Khishti Mosque, which was built in the late 18th Century but was rebuilt in the late 1960s. The market is constantly brimming with activity as buyers and sellers converge on this massive market. The market is living testament to the importance of Afghanistan as a trading center for the Middle East, Central Asia and India.
