Outside the district center in Marjah a boy with an amputated leg crutches his way into the district center where a shura, or tribal meeting is being held so his father can ask for help for the boy. The father says the boy was wounded by a blast that took place while Marines were fighting Taliban in their village when the Marines first pushed into Marjah in February. |
