On May 28th, 2010 Lance Corporal Justin Hennis was shot in the head. The round struck Lance Corporal Hennis in the helmet. After blacking out for a short time, Lance Corporal Hennis expected to find blood flowing from his head but miraculously, a fellow Marine inspected his head and saw no wound. Realizing he was not killed by the headshot, Lance Corporal Hennis "felt personally offended by being shot," and pursued the enemy. |
